ArtPrize the world's largest art prize comes to Grand Rapids, MI with awards totalling over $450,000.
ArtPrize is a radically open competition from September 23 - October 10, 2009. Open to any artist in the world who can find space. Open to anybody in Grand Rapids, Michigan who wants to create a venue. Open to a vote from anyone who attends.

Take Fulton West over the Grand River to Straight, turn left and the Tanglefoot Building is on your left a half mile down.
Rapid bus route #18 Westside to Front/Wealthy and walk west one block on Wealthy, Right on Straight to Tanglefoot. NOTE: RAPID MAP IS INCORRECT, BUS NO LONGER STOPS ON STRAIGHT/WEALTHY BUT INSTEAD CORNER OF FRONT/WEALTHY. Rapid is also offerning park and ride service from area Meijer stores.
Short walk from Mt Vernon or Grandville/Oaks shuttle stop
